I thought I'd do this because I just completed my last midterm, and I don't want to wait any further for it. So, IT'S TIME FOR MY DIFFERENT STARTER CONTEST!

Objective:
We all know about Pokemon's Grass, Fire, and Water starters, right? Rock beats Scissors, Paper beats Rock, and Scissors beats Paper; the same goes for many elemental types. This was the basis for the Grass/Fire/Water Starters. But what if there was a different type arrangement for a certain region? Your mission is to create a new Starter triangle, with the same Rock/Paper/Scissors arrangement that the original Type threesome has.
Mascots for this contest are my own three Starters, shown below.

This contest will consist of two rounds:
Round 1: Basic Starters.
This round involves just the basic forms of the said Starters. These are usually best submitted as 1 deviation, but you may also send in your entries as complete evolutionary families too (see below)
Round 2: Complete the families.
In this round you make two evolutions to each Starter. These are best submitted as seperate deviations for each family. You may choose to send in each round one deviation at a time, one for each starter and three for each evo family, or both rounds at once as three deviations with all evo family members.
General rules:
1.) Entries SHOULD be noted to me with "contest" somewhere in the title. Failure to do so may result in your entry being overlooked. Entries in any visual medium are permittable.
2.) The entries should have a different Rock/Paper/Scissors starter type orientation. I used Flying, Electric, and Ground, for example. But you can use a different triangle - say, Flying, Fighting, and Rock, for example. It is prefered that no entry has Grass/Fire/Water as a secondary type. This will keep them within the nature of the contest.

Note from

: In order to be completely fair, there must be EQUAL damage ratios ALL ROUND. Dark/Fighting/Psychic is NOT fair due to the immunity. Ground/Rock/Ice is NOT fair due to Rock's weakness against Ground.
Second typings DO upset the established order (such as Torterra's Ground typing beating Empoleon's Water/Steel, while Torterra's Grass does neutral), but integrating a second type that will KEEP balance is helpful.
3.) The deadline of the contest is December 20, 2009. If you wish me to extend the deadline, let me know. Feel free to ask any questions as necessary.
Prizes:
1st prize:
* Three colored images of the full families of Starters
* An image of three fakemon of their choice
2nd prize:
* A lineart of the first stages of all the starters in my style
* An image of two fakemon of their choice
3rd prize:
* An image of any fakemon of their choice

In 2009, the top two money-making movies were High School Musical 3 and Saw 5. One was 3 hours of pure torture with a guy who murders people... and the other was Saw 5.
