Last fossil remake, the original was this guy: [link]

142 - SKELESAUR (Skeleton+Dinosaur)
- Rock/Ghost
- Boneyard Pokémon
- Revive from ANCIENT FANG
- 9'/575 lbs
- Ability: Rock Head/Solid Rock (Weak Armor)

DAY: The scourge of the Jurassic, some stories say it hunted by tracking the life force of its prey. Packs of them would stalk migrating herds in search of the weak or sick, dead or dying.
NIGHT: Upon felling its prey, it would devour the flesh and life force, leaving only the skeleton. It would then attach choice bone fragments onto itself, like a natural suit of armor.

Level-Up: Roar, Rock Polish, AncientPower, Crunch, Take Down, Stone Edge, Iron Head, Hyper Beam, Rock Slide, Giga Impact

NOW WITH SIGNATURE MOVE!
*Phantom Fang (Ghost, Physical, 15 PP, 65 Power, 95% Accuracy) - The user bites with fangs cloaked in strange energy. It may also make the foe flinch or become confused.

Sp.Def: 65
Speed: 60

Meet the Aerodactyl of my region! In other words, this is the fossil Pokemon that does not evolve but is also insanely powerful. The original was based entirely off Ceratosaurus, but I didn't like how it came out. So I thought about Jurassic fossils and remembered the bonebeds of the Morrison formation. Then I got to thinking, how about a dinosaur that wears the bones of its prey like armor? Welp, sounds good enough to me!

Moves-wise, the movepool is similar to Aerodactyl, but as befitting a theropod, it gets a few changes. For starting moves, there's a new signature starting move, Phantom Fang (see above), to add to the elemental fang trio, and Supersonic was replaced by Screech, so as to lower defense and give the guy the upper claw. Agility was replaced by Rock Polish to increase speed(!), and Sky Drop by Stone Edge if only for STAB effectiveness. Rock Tomb and Sandstorm can also be learned by HM/TM to trap the foe. Whereas Aerodactyl uses speed as its main weapon, SKELESAUR is focused on attack and defense, and making sure it remains the last dino standing.
With this in mind, Skelesaur's stats reflect its "Mighty Glacier with a small side of Lightning Bruiser" status. I swiped most of the stats from Aerodactyl, switched them around, and altered them to fit the stats. He has 90 HP, 10 higher than the Fossil Pokemon, and 115 Attack, again 10 points higher. Defense is boosted up to 110 because of the bone armor, and Special Attack buffed to 85. Special Defense actually sank by 10 points to 65, though, and Speed got the short straw, being cut from 130 to 65. Then again, with moves that boost speed when needed and slow the opponent down or even stop it moving(!!), I suppose there's really no need to rush. ;)
