Remember these? [link]
I figured that since I finished all my Finals today, it's time to get to work on the prizes for my previous contest. In the meantime, I think it would be worth it to reveal the Avatars for the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, who bear the Four Apocalypse Incenses used in said contest.
So without further ado, I bring you the first one . . . THE DEATH AVATAR!!! Powers:
Half-human, half-ghost, Death rules over the armies of Hel, the Underworld, keeping the balance between the this world and the next stable. In contrast to popular belief, he is not truly evil, but prefers to obey his responsibilities; he mostly keeps to himself, residing alone in Hel, but when the time comes for him to perform his duty, he gladly takes up the chance, showing no mercy and no remorse. Death is immortal, having traded his soul for his role as guardian of the dead, and he has many spirit powers to his advantage. Able to melt into darkness, become invisible, and sneak through shadows, he can appear anywhere at any time; his ghost powers also enable him to control the spirits of the dead and steal those of the living. He is also lethal in close combat, capable of hurling ectoplasmic bolts at his enemies, and firing a powerful ghostly beam from the skull on his chest. He has less armor than most Avatars, but he technically doesn't need any; most attacks simply phase right through his body.Weapon:
"Freyja" - In almost all depictions, Death carries a large scythe; this one is made of a specially lethal alloy of adamantium and celestial bronze - blade, shaft, and all. The blade is extremely sharp and can slice through any known substance, mortal or otherwise. The scythe also bears a deadly spike, which he uses to punch fatal holes in the heads or torsos of his prey. Named after one of the Norse goddesses of death.Weaknesses:
The only way to destroy him is to locate his soul and destroy it; it is contained in the rare and special Incense of Hel, the root of Death Incense. Because of this, he keeps it safe and hidden in his domain in Hel.
Base Powermon is Grimeeper
, with a bit of Norse basis as well. I'm basing each of the Horsemen off a different significant mythos, so Grimeeper represents the Norse mythology.
Oh, and I've already colored War as well. It's a surprise, so I might as well wait until tomorrow to post it.
