Final Starter revealed! This was, in a way, the most difficult Starter to decide upon. I had already decided both the Flying and Electric starters by this time, but I found it hard to decide what to do with the Ground-type. At first I was thinking some kind of reptile, such as a ground-dwelling dinosaur like an Ankylosaurus, but my Stegosaurus Pokemon are already used as Starters. I needed something land-dwelling for a basis, but non-reptilian, they have too many of those already. Then I remembered that there are only two mammalian Starters in actual Pokemon (Cyndaquil and Chimchar), so I decided to use a mammal as a basis. But what mammal was I supposed to use? And then it hit me: llamas. I remember that someone had traded me a Llama for my Water starter, meaning that I had to have a llama for my region. So here it is. I know full well that Flying is immune to Ground and Ground is immune to Electric, but I don't mind. I just wish that Electric was immune to Flying type, or they didn't have immunities at all. Or maybe I could have just settled with Flying, Rock, and Fighting starters, but that would be unoriginal. Besides, Steel has an immunity (to Poison), so I guess that evens it out. These guys are based off a llama, a vicuna (a wild cousin of the llama), and an alpaca, with partial basis on steel wool.
111- Llanca (Llama+Inca) -Ground -Wool Pokémon -Ability: EARTHMOVER - When HP is below 33%, all Ground-type moves deliver 1.5x power. "LLANCA lives on mountaintops, and is adapted to living in harsh conditions. The skin on its neck is tough and covered in thick wool, to protect it from cold and predators."
112- VICUNCA (Vicuna+Inca) -Ground/Steel -Steel Wool Pokémon -Ability: EARTHMOVER -Evolves from LLANCA @ lvl. 18 "The wool on this Pokemon has hardened into metal armor due to the harsh conditions of its mountainous environment. It is usually kind and gentle, but when attacked by a predator, it will kick, spit, and charge with great force, trying to injure foes with the knives in its fur."
464- TERRALPACA (Terrain+Alpaca) -Ground/Steel -Armor Wool Pokémon -Ability: EARTHMOVER -Evolves from VICUNCA @ lvl. 37 "This Pokemon is very brave and noble. Its wool is comprised of numerous Steel blades that it can shoot at its foes like throwing knives, making it very well protected. The saddle on its back allows smaller Pokemon and people to ride upon it as it charges into battle. It is used by mountain peoples as a mount, transport, and beast of burden."
Hope you like it, and good luck on my new contest!
Llamas!!! XD. But really, nice concept. I also feel compelled to point out an apparent typo in your artist's comment- you put that both Vicunca and Terralpaca evolve from Llanca at Lv. 18.
